In Week 4, Corey Davis and Jared Cook both had monster games, likely putting any cash game owner in the money. This week has a whole new set of challenges and one of the best ways to dive into the slate is to see how to general public intends on spending their hard-earned money. These ownership ratings will give a strong indication of where everyone is planning on investing, often telling us who the safest plays are, and where we should look for contrarian GPP plays. Today, I’ll share our top five players at each position in terms of projected ownership rates for Week 5.

Quarterback
With the way Aaron Rodgers has been playing and the matchup Patrick Mahomes has (versus JAX), the top-owned quarterbacks this week will be all over the map. We expect two players to sit around 20% with Matthew Stafford welcoming Green Bay’s defense to Detroit, then Ben Roethlisberger at home against the injury-riddled Falcons defense. Coming in behind Big Ben is the other quarterback in that game, Matt Ryan. The over/under sits at 58 in that one so you can be sure FanDuel lineups will have plenty of exposure to both teams. Rounding out the top five, we expect Cam Newton (vs NYG) and Blake Bortles (@ KC). Newton offers safety with his legs while Bortles is the top value play on the slate without Leonard Fournette to demand the ball 20+ times.
