We’re now at the point in the season where we must admit to ourselves that things aren’t what they appeared to be before the season. For instance, the Broncos run-defense might not be all that. The Rams additions this offseason have not made them an elite defense to avoid in matchups. But what about the one-off situations? Like the Bears giving up 31 points to the Dolphins, or the Jaguars allowing 40 points to the Cowboys? Those are called outliers and ones that we won’t overreact to until we see a trend develop, and the same goes for the players.

We must adapt to things that are changing, and that’s what we do The Primer for. It’s there where we go through every fantasy relevant player from every game and discuss why that player should be moving up or down your rankings. Whether it be snap counts, injuries, or cornerback matchups, it’s all covered there. The Primer comes out every Thursday morning, so if you’re wondering why a player is higher or lower than you’d think, the answer will be in there. Until then, enjoy the snapshot of my early Week 7 rankings.
