Bobby Sylvester’s Week 15 Rankings (Fantasy Football)

Bobby Sylvester’s Week 15 Rankings (Fantasy Football)

Week 15 is about to kick off with a potential playoff preview between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. There are plenty of question marks in this one with both Spencer Ware and Melvin Gordon expected to miss the contest, and that seems to be the theme of the week. That means there will be plenty of tough start/sit decisions in everyone’s semi-final week. Hopefully my rankings can help you make up your mind on some of those hard choices. I’ll update these rankings every few hours up through the weekend and those changes will show up on this page. You can use the tabs for flex or even Superflex as well as half-PPR, PPR or standard leagues to help make your start/sit decisions. If you have more questions, don’t hesitate to let me know on Twitter. Now before I show you all the rankings, let me tell you about four particular rankings that might surprise you and why I have them as I do.

Dak Prescott (QB #9 vs ECR #12)
Yes, I’m willing to start him even over Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan this week, who are both in difficult matchups. Dak is on a roll, producing as the #4 fantasy quarterback since Dallas traded for Amari Cooper. Not only that, but he has an excellent matchup in what may be a shootout. The Colts have been much better versus the pass over the second half, but those numbers have been inflated by cake matchups against the Jets, Bills, Raiders, Jags, Titans, Dolphins and Jags again. Dak is a virtual lock for 15 fantasy points with upside for much more.

Justin Jackson (RB #11 vs ECR #15)
Jackson isn’t only startable with Austin Ekeler and likely Melvin Gordon out, he is an absolute must-start. You ought to play him over even Leonard Fourtnette and Aaron Jones this week. He is in line for 15+ touches and perhaps plenty more than that. Don’t worry about the game script, as Jackson is a capable pass catcher who will be involved all game regardless of the score. What’s more, is that the Chiefs are abysmal versus pass-catching running backs so make sure to get Jackson in your lineup.

John Ross (WR #44 vs ECR #56)
There are so many question marks at the wide receiver position this week that you are better off going with upside in your flex spot. Ross hasn’t been especially impressive of late, but we know he’s got the capacity to break a reception for a long touchdown or two and with A.J. Green out, he should get a handful of opportunities to touch the ball. Oakland on the opposite side of the ball only makes things easier.

Chicago Bears (D/ST #13 vs ECR #6)
I get it, the Bears have the best defense in football with apologies to the Vikings and Ravens. Even still, Aaron Rodgers has just one interception this year. ONE! They may register multiple sacks against Green Bay and a fumble recovery, but we can eliminate the idea of picking up points from interceptions or holding the Packers to 14 points or below which for me, puts them behind streamers like Buffalo, Detroit, Washington and even Atlanta.
