Get ready for a great Saturday in sports today as 18 NBA teams are in action while the first half of the Elite Eight is taking place. The first games in the NBA have a little earlier start time as the Cavs and Clippers tip-off at 3:30 ET. The biggest injury that players have to focus on would have to be Zach LaVine, who is doubtful against the Raptors with a thigh injury. The salary was capped at $60k per usual, but this week I had $400 leftover.

Point Guard
Mike Conley (MEM): $8,600 @ PHO
Conley had to be one of my biggest locks for the week as he’s been on a complete tear over his last month as he’s averaging 26.0 points, 7.0 dimes, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 triples and nearly one steal per game while shooting 50% from the field, 45% from three, and 84% from the line. He’s also hit at least two threes in each of his past four games and now draws the 26th ranked defensive team against point guards. He’s projected 44 FP but I wouldn’t be shocked if he outdoes that since the Suns have struggled against his position all season long.
Kadeem Allen (NYK): $3,900 vs MIA
Allen is a bit of a surprise addition to my team this week as the salary was tight for me and I couldn’t really find another solid backup point guard. Allen draws the third-ranked defense against point guards in Miami but he has been quite efficient as of late. In the absence of Dennis Smith for the past week, Allen has put up 16 points and 18 points in the last two games. With the Knicks most likely looking to tank and rest Smith, Allen should be in line for somewhere around 25 minutes tonight. Start him as a dart throw and hopefully reap his benefits.
