Welcome to the Tuesday edition of FanDuel NBA lineup advice. We have a solid six-game slate to navigate today. The slate features a plethora of high-priced options, with 13 players checking in at salaries over $9,000, though Joel Embiid has already been ruled out and Paul George is extremely questionable. The highest point total of the night is expected to be 233.5 between the Thunder and Timberwolves, while the game of the night is the East-West showdown between the Celtics and Warriors at Oracle Arena, which comes in at a slightly lower 230.5. That also happens to be the only late-night game on the slate, so it will undoubtedly have massive implications on the night. With all that in mind, here’s my advice for tonight.

Point Guard
Ben Simmons (PHI): $9,900
Simmons has always been one of the better rebounding point guard options on FanDuel but, in the five games since Joel Embiid has been out he’s been averaging 10.8 rebounds per game. That includes 12, 13, and 15 in his last three outings. He’s a triple-double threat every time he steps on the floor, but even with Embiid out he still hasn’t seen his price tag crack $10,000. There’s a chance that Jimmy Butler sits out the first half of a back-to-back tonight with tightness in his lower back, which would make Simmons an even better play.
