We kick off the work week with a nine-game MLB evening slate on DraftKings. It feels like a night to not mess around with starting pitching (at least in cash games). This is also possible to pull off on this slate since there are a ton of strong hitting options around the $4,000 mark to build out our lineup. If you do want to get a few higher priced bats into your lineup, you could take a chance on one of the cheaper other notable pitchers listed.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Pitchers
Aaron Nola (PHI): $9,600 vs. NYM
I’ll list Nola first on the pitcher list even though Trevor Bauer carries a higher price tag. That is because I prefer Nola over Bauer on this slate given their prices and matchups. Nola is off to a slow start thanks to a pair of rocky outings against the Nationals. However, Nola will be at home on Monday where he has been better over his career, especially in the strikeout department with a 28.6% rate. He has also had strong strikeout numbers against the Mets hitters over his career with a 29.9% strikeout rate in 97 plate appearances. Look for Nola to rise to the occasion in a marquee pitching matchup against Noah Syndergaard.
