DraftKings MLB Value Plays: Monday (4/22) PREMIUM
Tonight we will see ten games in action as we look at the main slate of games. It’s hard to believe that April is winding down, but soon we’ll feel as though we are in the thick of the MLB season. The goal tonight. as always, is to identify some value plays to help you in your DraftKings lineups, so let’s look at what we got.
Brad Keller (KC): $8,000 @ TB
Keller is pitching well to start 2019 with 2.64 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and is 39th in the league with 26 strikeouts. He’s averaging 17.5 FPPG and has reached double digits in three out of his five starts. Tampa Bay has had a better than expected start and is top 10 in batting average and top 15 in runs scored, but they are also third in strikeouts in the MLB to this point. Keller is the 12th cheapest pitcher Monday night and should be in line for another nice outing.
Jake Odorizzi (MIN): $7,100 @ HOU – Admittedly, Odorizzi is a far riskier play here. Through four starts he’s had two good fantasy starts (one quality start), one okay start, and one absolute dud where he was only able to record two outs. Still, at this price and with two 20+ point performances, Odorizzi is a tempting play Monday.
