DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Saturday (5/25) PREMIUM
Much like every other Saturday, all 30 teams are in action, For this schedule, there’s a 10-game early slate and a five-game night slate. That means I’ll definitely focus on the day slate, as we have twice as many options. Be sure to monitor the weather, as there are numerous questionable forecasts. The home teams to focus on are Colorado, Kansas City, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and the Chicago Cubs. All of those forecasts have rain, so it’s imperative to check before submitting lineups.
Patrick Corbin (WSH): $11,500 vs. MIA
I hate to recommend the highest-priced pitcher on the slate, but Corbin is easily the best option on the board. Dating back to last season, he owns a 3.17 ERA and 1.07 WHIP while posting a 30.4 percent K rate. That simply makes him one of the best arms in the majors, and getting to face Miami should be an absolute cruise. In fact, the Marlins currently rank dead last in runs scored, OPS, wOBA, xwOBA, and xSLG. That’s why Corbin enters this game as a -250 favorite with the Marlins projected for fewer than four runs.
Gary Sanchez (NYY): $5,500 at KC
Sanchez is simply the best catcher in the league right now, and it’s tough to fade him with such lackluster options at that position. His peripherals are simply absurd, ranking top five in both xwOBA and ISO. That’s downright shocking considering he’s a catcher, and it shows just how dominant he’s been. Sanchez is scorching hot right now, too, providing nine homers and 20 RBI over his last 20 games. Facing Jakob Junis is also a treat, and I’ll go over that more in this next write-up.
