DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Saturday (6/1) PREMIUM
It’s rare that we get more night games than day games on a Saturday schedule, but that’s the case here. That’s why I’m going to focus on the slate that begins at 7 p.m. ET and gets yet another Coors Field game. The Rockies had an implied run total of 7.2 on Friday, which happened to be the highest projection of the season. They surpassed that number in the third inning, and we have to deal with this again. While all Rockies are in play, I’m going to try my best to give you other recommendations, so you can just fill in whatever Colorado players you want with the values that I’ll offer up.
Jose Urena (MIA): $5,700 at SD
With so many great offensive stacks on this slate, I’m going to go dirt-cheap with my pitcher recommendation. This price really shocked me though, as Urena should be closer to $7,000. While his 4.11 ERA and 1.36 WHIP don’t jump off the page, his recent results do. In fact, Urena has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his last eight games while pitching to a 2.77 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. Having also pitched at least six innings in all eight of those starts, he’s simply one of the best inning-eaters in the league. All that makes him a fantastic bargain below $6,000, especially since he faces a Padres team that ranks 26th in scoring, last in K rate, and 28th in xwOBA.
