DraftKings MLB Lineup Advice: Saturday (6/22) PREMIUM
With most of Saturday’s schedule taking place during the day, I’m going to focus on all of the games starting between 2-4 p.m. ET. There happen to be 10 games on this particular slate, which is the perfect amount for a DFS schedule. Anyone could tell you to pick Mike Trout or Christian Yelich, but my goal is to give you some bargain-bin players to get those superstars into your lineup. That’s why I’m going to keep all the position players below $4,500 and recommend a stud pitcher to cap things off.
Jose Berrios (MIN): $11,000 at KC
With so many value bats in this article, let’s ride a reliable arm like Berrios. He has been absolute nails this season and has exhibited especially good recent form. Not only has Berrios pitched at least 5.2 innings in all but one start this season, he’s actually pitched to a 1.85 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over his last four starts. That’s not far off of his 2.86 ERA and 1.06 WHIP for the year, adding 94 Ks across 97.2 innings. Facing the Royals is simply icing on the cake, with Kansas City ranking 23rd in runs scored, 25th in OPS, 25th in xwOBA, and 26th in xSLG. That doesn’t even take into consideration that the Royals will be without one of their best hitters, as Adalberto Mondesi hit the IL earlier this week.
