On Wednesday’s eight-game MLB evening slate there are two games that have all of my attention on the hitting side. They are the perfect opportunities for game stacks and to focus your cash game lineup around by mix-and-matching the top options at each position from those teams. This will likely force you to save some salary on the mound whether it is by using two mid-priced options or one high-priced ace paired with a cheap roll of the dice. Read on to find out which teams I’m targeting on Wednesday night.

Pitchers
Joey Lucchesi (SDP): $9,600 @ SF
There are higher-priced pitching options worth consideration but Lucchesi could produce the highest point total out of all the pitchers on the slate and offers up a little bit of salary savings. He is a small road favorite against the Giants on Wednesday night in a matchup with one of the lowest Vegas totals on the slate. Lucchesi will face a Giants team that ranks dead last in wOBA, ISO, and wRC+ against left-handed pitching this season. They also strikeout at a league average 23.7% rate while Lucchesi has produced a 33.3% strikeout rate against Giants hitters in 33 career plate appearances.
