On Wednesday around the MLB ballparks, there is a split slate of action. This article will focus in on the nine-game evening slate. It is a challenging slate with five pitchers all hovering around the $10k mark who could all have some success on Wednesday night. While I have my favorite of the bunch, they are all solid options to spread out your exposure in GPPs. Finding my favorite hitters was also a challenge on the slate but I have zeroed in on the bats that I want to build my core around.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Patrick Corbin (WAS): $10,600 @ MIA
Out of the five top-end pitchers on the Wednesday night slate, Corbin is the only one that is not facing one another with Mike Minor and Matthew Boyd squaring off, in addition to Charlie Morton and Jake Odorizzi. This makes Corbin an ideal cash game option while pivoting to your favorites of the other high-priced arms in GPPs. Corbin is a decent sized road favorite in a plus matchup against the Marlins in Miami. While Corbin has fared better at home than on the road this season, the Marlins matchup should help those road numbers as Miami ranks 29th in wOBA (.274) and wRC+ (70) this season against lefties.
