FanDuel MLB Lineup Advice: Monday (6/24) PREMIUM
We’ve got a seven-game slate this Monday on FanDuel, with a few games having high expected run totals. KC @ CLE, TOR @ NYY, NYM @ PHI, and CWS @ BOS all have expected totals greater than nine runs. Over half our games have high anticipated totals, which means there should be plenty of hitting options to choose from even on a smaller slate.
Jon Gray (COL): $8,500 @ SF
Gray is back on track after a rough May, posting a 3.28 ERA in four June starts thus far. He also has a 10.58 K/9 and 3.33 FIP this month. Gray draws an excellent matchup against the light-hitting Giants. San Francisco has an 81 wRC+ and .684 OPS collectively against right-handed pitching, along with a .160 ISO. Gray is a great GPP option since he can rack up strikeouts and faces an easy lineup on the road. He is a great value over high-priced pitchers in tough matchups, like Lucas Giolito ($10,700 @ BOS), or Zack Greinke ($9,100 vs. LAD).
Four Player Indians Stack: $13,200 vs. KC
Carlos Santana (1B): $3,700
Francisco Lindor (SS): $3,700
Bobby Bradley (OF): $2,000
Oscar Mercado (OF): $3,800
Royals starter Brad Keller got hammered in his last start for seven earned runs, and has a pathetic 1.42 K/BB ratio on the year. Keller’s 4.45 ERA may not seem that bad, but his 5.40 SIERA suggests Keller deserves an even worse ERA mark. To Keller’s credit, he doesn’t give up many home runs at just 0.56 HR/9, but his Statcast numbers are significantly worse this season compared to last. His average exit velocity is up 2 MPH, his xBA is 20 points higher, and his xSLG is 70 points higher in 2019 compared to 2018. He did not make the breakout step many were hoping Keller would take, and he is a good pitcher to target on this slate.
