Monday’s seven-game MLB DFS slate will be a balancing act between trying to roster just enough quality pitching to spare some salary to get exposure to the game at Coors Field between the Dodgers and Rockies. Sure, you could go all-in one way or the other in GPP lineups, but in cash games, a more balanced approach getting a piece of both Coors Field and a couple of solid pitchers is likely the optimal play.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Chris Paddack (SD): $10,200 vs. BAL
Paddack has been lights out at home in San Diego this season with a 2.36 ERA, .214 wOBA allowed, and a 32.3% strikeout rate. He’ll be pitching at home on Monday night against the Orioles minus a DH. The Orioles have posted a .294 wOBA (27th), 81 wRC+ (27th), and 25.6% strikeout rate (6th) against right-handed pitching on the road this season. While no Vegas line has been posted as of this writing, the Padres will surely be significant favorites at home which makes Paddack a great cash game pitching option to anchor your staff.
