This main slate has a modest 10 games, but that’s the perfect amount for DFS. A schedule like this caters to everyone and should make for a fascinating slate. Sometimes, 15-game schedules have too many options while a small five-game slate will have competitors using the same players. This is the perfect amount because it diversifies lineup construction.

Pitcher
Clayton Kershaw (LAD): $11,000 vs. MIA
This play is pretty self-explanatory, as Kershaw is probably the safest bet on the board to attain a quality start. Not only has he gone at least six innings in all 16 of his starts, but he also has at least 15 DK points in all but two of them. That’s an incredible floor, and it would be shocking if he didn’t add to that streak here. The Marlins currently rank 28th or worse in runs scored, OPS, wOBA, and xwOBA. The Dodgers enter this game as a -345 favorite, with Miami projected for only three runs.
Catcher
Carson Kelly (ARI): $3,900 vs. MIL
People need to take notice of Kelly, as he’s truly becoming a huge piece from the Paul Goldschmidt trade. An .884 OPS for the season speaks for itself, but Kelly has obliterated left-handed pitching. He owns a .383/.482/.766 slash line with the platoon advantage in his favor. Those absurd numbers should have made Kelly one of the highest-priced catchers against southpaw Gio Gonzalez.
