Tonight’s selections below feature the most expensive pitcher as well as a trio of bargain hurlers, including two of the five cheapest pitchers on the slate. With a potential middle-tier pivot from the top arm and a pair of bargain SP2 options, there’s ample salary relief to spend on big boppers. Two of my favorite pricey hitters are teammates, and they’re highlighted among the touted hitter plays. They’re joined by a potentially sneaky one-off play and a trio of teammates in another stack.

Walker Buehler (LAD): $11,500 vs. Diamondbacks
Buehler is having an outstanding season. Among qualified pitchers, he ranks 13th in strikeout rate (29.0%), seventh in WHIP (1.00), and tied for seventh in SIERA (3.38), according to FanGraphs. The young righty has been especially lethal at home. In 142 innings pitched at Dodger Stadium since last season, he has a 2.22 ERA, 2.86 xFIP, and 31.5% K rate. He and the Dodgers are -192 favorites, per Pinnacle, and Arizona’s team over/under total of only 2.5 runs is the lowest on the slate by a full run.
