There are some great options on Tuesday’s slate, which should make for a fascinating DFS day. With so many good value bats out there, I’m going to kick off this article by recommending the most reliable pitcher in DFS right now.

Pitcher
Clayton Kershaw (LAD): $12,200 vs. TOR
Many people questioned Kershaw coming into the year, but he’s been absolutely superb in a bounce-back season. What’s truly amazing is his consistency, with Kershaw throwing at least six innings in all 21 of his starts. That equates to a 2.63 ERA and 1.00 WHIP, which is vintage Kershaw. He’s at his best right now, attaining a 1.40 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, and 11.7 K/9 rate over his last seven outings. The star southpaw will also face a Toronto offense that ranks 28th in OBP, 23rd in OPS, and 23rd in wOBA. This is why Kershaw enters this matchup as a -300 favorite.
Catcher/First Base
Eric Thames (MIL): $3,300 at STL
Thames has been undervalued on FanDuel all season long because of his platoon status. He’s done nothing but kill right-handers since joining the Brewers, which is evident by his .884 OPS against them since the start of 2017. That’s especially encouraging against Michael Wacha, who’s pitching to a 5.44 ERA and 1.63 WHIP this season. Thames is rolling right now, too, posting a .915 OPS over his last 10 games. Hitting in the heart of the Rays’ order, former platoon partner Jesus Aguilar is also a fantastic option for $2,700.
