Now that the NFL season has officially kicked off with the Hall of Fame game, it’s time to start adjusting rankings weekly. There will be changes to the depth charts, injuries, and all sorts of fluff for you to sift through, but that’s where we come in. After every wave of preseason games, we’ll post new rankings for you to sort through as you head into draft season. I’ll also be posting the key injuries or changes you need to be aware of as they happen, right at the top of each article. With that, let’s start with what’s happened over the last week.

• The Texans waived running back D’Onta Foreman, leaving him without a team and no clear handcuff to Lamar Miller, though the team has said they will not trade for a high-end running back like Melvin Gordon.
• Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is “disappointed” in Damien Williams for missing so much practice time with a strained hamstring, while Carlos Hyde has been getting praise for his participation in practice.
• Eagles rookie running back Miles Sanders continues to turn heads at training camp and has beat reporters from all over the country saying he’s on a different level than anyone else on the team at the running back position.
• Ryan Fitzpatrick is currently atop the Dolphins depth chart, but Josh Rosen has made a recent surge in practice.
