Tuesday night in the MLB delivers a 14-game DFS slate on DraftKings. As usual with a big slate, there are about a million and one ways to construct your lineup. Finding pitchers that won’t get their outings cut short this time of year is a challenge. Whether it is a team that has solidified their playoff spot and have no incentive to push their starter or it is a team fighting for a playoff spot which pushes them to give an early hook as every win matters. These concerns have pushed me to recommend two “value” aces on this slate and going with a studs and duds approach on the hitting side.
As always, be sure to pay close attention to the lineups when they are released and monitor the weather leading up to game time. For reference throughout the season, be sure to bookmark our overview of MLB Park Factors and how to Use Weather to Your Advantage in MLB DFS.

Pitchers
Lance Lynn (TEX): $10,500 vs. TB
Despite the Rangers falling out of playoff contention, Lynn has continued to get the ball every fifth day and has racked up 100-plus pitches in 20 straight starts. Lynn has dominated the current collection of Rays hitters in his career allowing a .279 wOBA while producing a 34.3% strikeout rate in 67 plate appearances. The temperatures are warm in Texas but the wind blowing in from right field should help mitigate the heat. I don’t expect Lynn to be very popular so feel free to roll with him in GPPs in addition to cash games.
