FanDuel NFL GPP Lineup Advice: Week 4 (2019)

FanDuel NFL GPP Lineup Advice: Week 4 (2019)

There are some excellent options to pivot away from the chalk on the Week 4 Sunday slate on FanDuel. I’m looking at you, Chargers and Giants. This week’s FanDuel GPP writeup will include a one-side team onslaught stack, an off-the-radar running back paired with a defense stack, and plenty of low-owned fliers to take a shot on who have multiple touchdown upside.

So, let’s start to pivot and let others choke on the chalk this week.

Stacking Options

Jared Goff (QB – LAR):  $7,700 / Rams WRs / Rams D/ST: $4,300
The Rams offense is in an excellent spot this week, as they are playing at home with one of the highest Vegas implied point totals on the slate. Yet I don’t expect them to be highly-owned in GPPs as DFS players never know which Rams wide receiver to stack with Goff. This is the perfect week to get exposure to all three Rams wideouts, Brandin Cooks ($7,300), Robert Woods ($7,100), and Cooper Kupp ($7,000), by rotating through two each across three GPP lineups to cover all your bases. This is also a spot not to bother bringing it back with a Buccaneers player and instead look for a Rams onslaught by adding on their defense, which is underpriced on FanDuel given their high floor and upside potential against the sack and turnover-prone Jameis Winston.

Case Keenum (QB – WAS): $7,200 / Terry McLaurin (WR – WAS): $6,300
The Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones will get a lot of hype and ownership this week, as he probably should. However, Keenum and the Redskins’ passing game also have a very favorable matchup against the Giants’ secondary which has allowed 346 passing yards (32nd) and 2.7 TD passes (29th) per game. Pair Keenum with young rookie wideout McLaurin, who has scored in three straight weeks and is averaging over 16 yards per reception. Be sure to keep an eye on McLaurin’s health as he did pop up on the injury report. Go ahead and bring it back with Evan Engram who has topped 20 FanDuel points in two of three games this season.

Bring it back with: Evan Engram (TE – NYG): $6,800

Devonta Freeman (RB – ATL): $6,200 / Falcons D/ST: $3,900
Freeman hasn’t done much over the first three weeks, but he has faced some pretty strong run defenses, and the Falcons have trailed early in two of their three games. This week sets up much better for Freeman, as he’s playing at home as a small favorite in a fairly good matchup against the Titans. The Titans have allowed 4.92 yards per carry (25th) to opposing running backs this season while giving up a total of 100 rushing yards per game to backs. Freeman played on 90 percent of snaps last week with Ito Smith banged up, as he is still in the concussion protocol. Pair up Freeman with the Falcons defense who will face sack-happy quarterback Marcus Mariota who has been taken down a league-high 5.7 times per game through three weeks.

Low-Owned Stud

Odell Beckham Jr. (WR – CLE): $7,900
You could label this pick as “any high-priced wide receiver not named Keenan Allen.” With Allen likely hogging a lot of ownership, pivoting to any of the other high-priced wideouts such as DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, or Beckham will likely carry fairly low ownership in comparison. Beckham might be the most “out there” of the trio with a matchup against the Ravens in Baltimore. However, the Ravens have allowed 216 receiving yards (29th) per game to wide receivers this season and you know Beckham will likely get double-digit targets thrown his way.
