Mike Tagliere’s Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings (2019)

Deshaun Watson is the top quarterback play in Week 1

Last night was a wild one for me. Went to bed at 9:30, as I knew it would take a long time to fall asleep. When I opened my eyes like a kid on Christmas morning, the clock said 1:45 a.m. Not exactly what I had in mind, though excitement started to flow through me. The NFL season is upon us. We will watch a meaningful football game tonight, and it just happens to be one of the better matchups we could hope for between the Bears and Packers.

When looking at the rankings, I fully expect you to have some questions on why your favorite player is ranked too low, or why your least favorite player is ranked too high. That’s where The Primer comes in. That’s the article where I write a paragraph from every fantasy relevant player from every game (yes, even Taylor Gabriel and Will Dissly). Whether it be snap counts, injuries, or cornerback matchups, it’s all covered there. The Primer comes out every Thursday morning, so if you’re wondering why a player is higher or lower than you’d think, the answer will be in there. The Week 1 version is up right here.
