We are now just hours away from San Francisco defending their perfect record against the Cardinals on Thursday Night Football. If you’ve got start/sit questions, I’m here to answer them all with my rankings. I’ll post this article every Thursday afternoon to help you make your most challenging decisions each week. If you aren’t reading it until Saturday or Sunday, don’t worry, I’ll continue to update it every few hours for you all. As always, if you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out on Twitter @bobbyfantasypro. Before we dive into the rankings, let me tell you about four start/sit options that I am especially opinionated about this week.

Mark Walton (RB #22 vs ECR #28) vs NYJ
You may not want any tie to the Dolphins offense and I’d understand, but with Kenyan Drake now gone, Walton is the clear workhorse running back. Not only that, but he is game-script proof too because of the work he can do in the passing game. Lock him in for 15-20 touches which should go a long way against a defense that was already struggling before it dealt Leonard Williams and lost C.J. Mosley for a month.
Chris Conley (WR #33 vs ECR #43) vs HOU
Jacksonville’s passing game has been all about D.J. Chark and Dede Westbrook but Westbrook suffered a shoulder and neck injury last week and was pulled out of the game. With their bye coming up next week, it seems unlikely that he’ll play in London. That means Conley should get 5 to 8 targets against an awful secondary that has now lost three starters out of it.
Danny Amendola (WR #38 vs ECR #49) @ OAK
It may not feel great starting a 33-year-old journeyman slot receiver, but Amendola has been tremendous in each of the last two weeks with 8 receptions and 95+ yards in each contest. With a matchup against Oakland’s pass-funnel defense, Amendola and this Lions’ pass attack are gearing up for another huge game.
Dallas Goedert (TE #9 vs ECR #12) vs CHI
Zach Ertz is still the starter, but that doesn’t mean Goedert can’t play starter snaps too. He has been over the last five weeks, and he actually has more fantasy points during that time than even Ertz. There is a safe floor here and he has serious touchdown upside too. Throw in a matchup versus a Bears team that has been surprisingly bad against tight ends and Goedert is a strong start this week.
