Let’s get ready for Week 7! We’ve got some good matchups for fantasy points this week, like Rams-Falcons, Cardinals-Giants, and Jaguars-Bengals, and Titans-Chargers. Each week, I’ll be taking a look at our projected ownership tool to give you some pointers on your DFS lineups.

Quarterback

Deshaun Watson has turned things around this year, and as a result, FanDuel owners are expected to be confident in him. He’s blown up the past two weeks, totaling an impressive 706 yards and six touchdowns. While the Colts’ defense might be a bit better than the Falcons’ and Chiefs’ defenses, superstar safety Malik Hooker is doubtful for their Week 7 showdown. The Colts surrender a 14th-worst 18.7 FanDuel points per week to quarterbacks, so he might be a smart investment this week. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have shifted back into a run-first offense, and Marquise Brown’s absence likely pressured them to do so. Brown is questionable this week, but he also hasn’t practiced once, so I’m not optimistic Jackson will have his No. 1 target. That said, he comes with a solid rushing floor against Seattle. Matt Ryan and Jared Goff should both be popular options this week as they face off against one another. On one side of the ball, Ryan has the quartet of Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, Austin Hooper, and Mohamed Sanu to work against Jalen Ramsey and the Rams’ secondary, who currently give up just 16.8 FanDuel points per game to quarterbacks. On the other side, Goff looks to rebound with Cooper Kupp, Brandin Cooks, and Robert Woods against a defense without star corner Desmond Trufant that’s already giving up a second-worst 24.9 FanDuel points per game to the position. Goff is both cheaper and, in my opinion, the better option this week. Kyler Murray should also be a popular pick against the Giants, but he could be without David Johnson this week. We’ll have to see if that boosts or busts the rookie quarterback.
