DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Wednesday (11/13)

DraftKings NBA Lineup Advice: Wednesday (11/13)

Three weeks into the NBA season and we are finally starting to get some players who could be some sneaky good value plays. The slate for Wednesday has seven games and plenty of great options to choose from, below I’ll recommend at least one stud player and a few value guys.

Guards

D’Angelo Russell (G – GSW): $8,100 @ LAL
Russell is the Warrior’s best player at the moment and could be the only Warrior who even scores over 25 points in the game.  The Lakers are a defensively stout team but Russell should be able to get his points. Look for him to give you well over 45 fantasy points in this matchup with the Lakers.

Ja Morant (G – MEM): $6,100 @ CHA
Morant has struggled a bit in his last two games but should get back on track against the Hornets who rank 23rd in the NBA in defensive rating. Morant should bounce back and get closer to his season averages of 17.8 points per game and 5.8 assists per game. Look for Morant to take advantage of his matchup with Terry Rozier and give you over 30 fantasy points.

Dejounte Murray (G – SAS): $5,900 @ MIN
Murray has been inconsistent to date but has the possibility of going off as he faces the Timberwolves who have given up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing point guards. Murray has been facing a minutes restriction but has shown the ability to put up near triple-doubles. At this price point, he has to be considered an absolute steal and should produce well over 30 fantasy points.

Markelle Fultz (G – ORL): $4,100 vs. PHI
Fultz plays against the 76ers for the first time since they traded him and will definitely have something to prove. He should be able to exceed his value and maybe even possibly give you a double-double as Fultz will be out for revenge. The 76ers are an elite defensive team but expect Fultz to give you well over 25 fantasy points.

Forwards

Kawhi Leonard (F – LAC): $9,700 @ LAC
Leonard has been on a tear as of late and should continue that against the porous defense of the Rockets.   The Rockets rank 20th in defensive rating and give up the 9th most points to opposing small forwards. Leonard should have plenty of rest and should easily exceed his average of 52 fantasy points against the Rockets, which would make him an absolute steal for $9,700.

Jaylen Brown (F – BOS): $7,300 vs. WAS
Brown should be in line for more minutes with the injury to Gordon Hayward and there should be a good chance he easily exceeds his value. In his last game, he exceeded 45 fantasy points and should be able to do that again. The Wizards rank 28th in the NBA in defensive rating and Brown should be in line for a big game.

PJ Washington (F – CHA): $5,300 vs. MEM
Washington has been playing well for the Hornets though he has been a bit inconsistent. He faces the Grizzlies who rank 25th in the NBA in defensive rating. The Grizzlies give up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Washington has been averaging about 28 fantasy points but should easily exceed 30 in the contest vs the Grizzlies.

Chris Boucher (F – TOR): $4,300 @ POR
Boucher is filling in for the injured Serge Ibaka and has done well in his previous two starts. Look for Boucher to fill the stat sheet against the Trail Blazers who give up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. The Trail Blazers also rank 18th in defensive rating in the NBA. Boucher in his last two games exceeded 25 fantasy points and there is no reason why he shouldn’t easily exceed 25 fantasy points in this contest.

Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns (C – MIN): $9,300 vs. SAS
Towns is a must-start center regardless of matchup. He is good for 50 or more fantasy points and that is no exception against the Spurs. The Spurs rank 19th in the NBA in defensive rating and Towns should have a near triple-double against them. Look for Towns to easily give you 60 fantasy points in this contest.

Ivan Zubac (C – LAC): $4,600 vs. WAS
Zubac should be in line for a big stat line as he faces off against the Rockets who rank 20th in the NBA in defensive rating. The Rockets give up the 11th most fantasy points to opposing centers. Zubac has been up and down in his last few games but when he plays over 15 minutes a game he shows the ability to put up fantasy points. Look for Zubac to easily exceed 25 fantasy points in this contest.

Dwight Howard (C – LAL): $4,300 vs. GSW
Howard faces the Warriors who are last in defensive rating in the NBA. Anthony Davis is also questionable with a lingering shoulder injury, so Howard should see plenty of minutes and a chance to make a real impact. The Warriors also give up the 5th most fantasy points to opposing centers. Howard can be hit or miss but at this value, at a minimum, he should give you over 20 fantasy points, and you can easily expect him to hit around 30 fantasy points.
