Both Thanksgiving and Black Friday have come and gone, but if you’re looking for some last-minute change to spend on Cyber Monday, this week’s DFS slate could be your answer. Each week, I’ll be covering the players who are expected to be highly owned in DFS according to our handy projected ownership tool to give you some handy lineup advice. Ready? Let’s get started.

Quarterback
Andy Dalton is back, and his bargain-bin $4,700 salary rockets him to the top of this list. He’s projected to be owned in 44.7% of lineups, which means he’s chalk this week. Buy him in cash leagues, plan to bet against him in tournaments. His salary is undoubtedly appealing, but don’t let your expectations get too high. The Jets, despite their lowly record, field a mid-pack defense against quarterbacks. And under Ryan Finley, the Bengals pivoted to more of a run-focused scheme with Joe Mixon, so there’s no guarantee Dalton will be back in his old role. Next up is Patrick Mahomes against the fourth-worst defense against quarterbacks in DraftKings points per game. The Raiders’ secondary has allowed more passes of 20-plus yards than any other defense, which is good news for Mahomes and his assortment of speedster receivers. His $7,400 price tag isn’t cheap, but he’s got the upside to pay it off. Next up, Lamar Jackson is only $400 less expensive in a much tougher matchup. The 49ers give up the second-fewest DraftKings points per game to quarterbacks at just 12.4, and while Jackson is on a roll, the wheels could come off against a tough San Francisco defense. The next two quarterbacks are projected to be owned in less than 5 percent of lineups, which goes to show the popularity of the first three options. Kyler Murray should be able to score against the Rams, although Kliff Kingsbury listed him as questionable for Sunday’s game. Aaron Rodgers will look to turn his mediocre season around against the struggling Giants, and at just $6,500, it might be worth it to roll the dice on him. And if the Broncos announce him as the starter, look for Drew Lock to appear in a good chunk of lineups.
