Week 11 Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart (2019)

Week 11 Fantasy Football Trade Value Chart (2019)

If your trade deadline hasn’t yet passed, you’ve probably got another week or two to make a deal. Are you are in desperate need of a win this week? Are you essentially locked into a playoff spot and just looking to shore up your roster for a final push?

The answers to those questions should have a great impact on your goals in seeking out a trade. Do not be afraid to lose a trade in a vacuum if it helps you achieve your immediate objective. Nevertheless, the trade chart will, as always, give you a good baseline to evaluate any deal.

There’s a big change in quarterback values, particularly with Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. At this stage, particularly if you are playoff-bound, then trading for a true stud quarterback with an immense floor is worth a fairly hefty price. There’s a qualifier with quarterback values, however, which is that if you have one of the other quarterbacks listed on the trade chart, or another quarterback giving you high-floor production, then the values of Jackson and Mahomes should be reduced a bit. As always, the benefits of a trade are greatly dependent on your particular situation. Never be a slave to values.

Melvin Gordon takes the most drastic leap in trade value among running backs after his excellent performance on Thursday night against the Raiders. Receiving 23 touches for the second straight game, Gordon rumbled for 133 total yards and a touchdown, his fifth in his last four games. Not only were his numbers on Thursday his best of the season, but he was hit in the backfield often, and simply refused to be stopped. With Gordon looking closer to the 2018 version of himself, only his poor offensive line keeps him from moving higher.

David Johnson, meanwhile, falls significantly in trade value, after his awful game against the Bucs in which he gained 10 yards on just six touches and lost a fumble. Kliff Kingsbury admitted that Johnson was still banged up, although curiously, Johnson was not on Wednesday’s injury report. Johnson may still have some value this season, especially since the Cardinals still have their bye in Week 12 for him to get healthier. But as of now, if you’re trading for him, you should already be guaranteed a playoff spot and looking for upside.

Note that Austin Ekeler and Kenyan Drake fall and rise in trade value, respectively, in relation to Gordon and Johnson.

Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones fall with the prospects of Matthew Stafford’s back injury hanging over their heads. Stafford’s “fractured back” isn’t quite as serious as it sounds, but he missed practice on Wednesday and seems unlikely to play against the Cowboys at the very least. Jeff Driskel isn’t the worst quarterback in the world, but the prospects of both receivers dip.

As they do with Tyler Lockett and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Lockett is reportedly on track to play after the bye against Philadelphia, but given the serious nature of his injury, some caution is warranted. Truly, of all the trade values, Lockett’s is the most fluid, as I would not argue if you valued him four or five points higher given the recent optimistic news. But, as with any injury, tread carefully.

As for Smith-Schuster, it’s just not going to work. In his last four games, Smith-Schuster has seven, 103 (against the Dolphins), 16, and 44 yards receiving. Mason Rudolph has no interest in pushing the ball down the field, and the Steelers are content to rely on their defense. If you are rostering Smith-Schuster, you’re likely still starting him.  But as closer to a WR3.

Mark Andrews 14 14 16 16 17 17
Gerald Everett 8 N/A +8 10 N/A +10 11 N/A +11

You know the deal with tight ends already. There are only a few worth trading for and other than that, you’re just throwing darts. With Evan Engram’s injury issues, however, Gerald Everett enters the trade chart. Although he’s certainly a class below the rest, with Brandin Cooks out for at least this week and possibly more, Everett had the chance to become an integral part of the Rams’ passing attack. With at least 10 targets in two of his last three games (and three of his last five), he falls into that gray area below the studs but above the streamers.

George Kittle, meanwhile, will apparently miss Week 12, and his timeline for recovery is unclear. Still, with the 49ers very much in a dogfight for the NFC West title, Kittle should return as soon as he is possibly able, which should mean enough production down the stretch to warrant trading for.
