We have come to the end of the NFL regular season as the chaos of Week 17 is all that is left. In DFS for Week 17 in cash games lineups, I want to get as much exposure to teams that have something to play for as possible. The teams that are on the Sunday DraftKings Main slate that still have something at stake include the following teams: Packers, Saints, Patriots, Chiefs, Eagles, Cowboys, Titans, Steelers, and Raiders. You may also want to consider reducing the amount of your bankroll you use in cash games this week due to the uncertainty and potential for some random “out of nowhere” plays to break the slate. Enjoy the DraftKings cash game lineup advice for Week 17 and watch for my NFL playoff articles in the coming weeks.

Quarterback
Carson Wentz (PHI): $6,100 @ NYG
The Eagles have seen their receiving corps get decimated by injury but that hasn’t seemed to stop Wentz from piling up fantasy production with four straight games over 21 DraftKings points. Wentz and the Eagles are in a must-win mode as a victory over the Giants will secure the NFC East divisional title. The Giants pass defense ranks 31st Defense-adjusted Value Over Average (DVOA) according to FootballOutsiders this season while giving up 283 passing yards (29th) and 2.4 touchdown passes (28th) per game over the last five weeks.
Other Notables:
- Ryan Tannehill (TEN): $6,800 @ HOU
- Matt Ryan (ATL): $6,500 @ TB
- Case Keenum (WAS): $4,500 @ DAL
Running Backs
Ezekiel Elliott (DAL): $8,000 vs. WAS
After a loss to the Eagles last week the Cowboys need to win and get some help to make the playoffs. They will be at home this week as a big Vegas favorite over the Redskins which should bode well for Elliott to have a strong bounce-back game. The Redskins let Saquon Barkley carve them like a Christmas ham last week for 189 rushing yards and 90 receiving yards to go along with a pair of scores. With Dak Prescott still nursing an injured shoulder, look for the Cowboys to feed Elliott to try to sneak into the playoffs.
Damien Williams (KC): $4,700 vs. LAC
The Chiefs still have a chance at a first-round bye if they win and the Patriots lose. While that scenario seems unlikely to occur, Williams should still get the bulk of the work for the Chiefs backfield this week at home against the Chargers. He had 19 touches last week and in the last three healthy games for Williams, he has put up at least 14 DraftKings points. Williams is the cheaper running back option that I trust the most in cash game lineups and should allow you to pay up for one of the four backs below to fill the flex lineup spot.
Other Notables:
- Christian McCaffrey (CAR): $10,000 vs. NO
- Aaron Jones (GB): $8,200 @ DET
- Derrick Henry (TEN): $8,100 @ HOU
- Alvin Kamara (NO): $7,800 @ CAR
Wide Receivers
A.J. Brown (TEN): $7,000 @ HOU
I definitely want to get some exposure to the Titans offense this week in a must-win game against the Texans who may or may not play their starters. Brown piled up 114 yards on eight grabs with a touchdown against the Texans in Week 15. He should be able to rebound from last week’s dud to post similar numbers to his previous meeting with the Texans again this week.
Greg Ward Jr. (PHI): $4,700 @ NYG
Over the last three weeks, Ward has been targeted 23 times. He has topped 61 receiving yards in back-to-back weeks while scoring once in those outings. With the continued rash of injuries to the Eagles receiving corps, Ward has turned into one of the more reliable options for Wentz and could get even more targets depending on the health of Zach Ertz while playing in a favorable matchup against the Giants.
Other Notables:
- Julio Jones (ATL): $8,500 @ TB
- Davante Adams (GB): $8,000 @ DET
- Amari Cooper (DAL): $6,500 vs. WAS
- Keke Coutee (HOU): $3,300 vs. TEN
- Josh Reynolds (LAR): $3,200 vs. ARI
Tight End
Dallas Goedert (PHI): $4,900 @ NYG
Goedert’s role in the Eagles passing game has also expanded and become more consistent in recent weeks with injuries to pass-catchers. Goedert has had at least six targets in six straight games, highlighted by 12 targets with nine receptions for 91 yards and a score last week. Much like Ward, Goedert has become a go-to option in the offense and could see more looks if Ertz is out or limited this week in a must-win game. The Giants have allowed 6.4 receptions (29th) for 64 yards (26th) and 0.8 touchdowns (27th) to tight ends over the last five weeks.
Other Notables:
- O.J. Howard (TB): $4,300 vs. ATL
- Hayden Hurst (BAL): $3,200 vs. PIT
Defense
Chicago Bears: $2,100 @ MIN
After the Vikings loss on Monday night, they are now locked into the sixth seed in the NFC playoffs, which will likely have them play their backups for most, if not all, of their final game of the regular season at home against the Bears. The Bears defense has underachieved this season which has resulted in a very attractive price tag for the finale against backups. The Bears D/ST could wreak havoc with a Vikings offensive line that was just dominated by the Packers last week for five sacks.
Other Notables:
- Kansas City Chiefs: $3,700 vs. LAC
- Green Bay Packers: $3,000 @ DET
