FanDuel NHL Lineup Advice: Tuesday 12/3

FanDuel NHL Lineup Advice: Tuesday 12/3

The Boston Bruins are rolling on a seven-game winning streak, despite being without Patrice Bergeron. Washington and St. Louis are chugging right along. Edmonton is battling to remain on top of their division. The Islanders finally hit some adversity out west. On the other side of things, it looks like Detroit can turn their focus to Alexis Lafreniere, Quinton Byfield, and the rest of the 2020 draft prospects. New Jersey has rightfully started listening on Taylor Hall. Teams are starting to figure out the kind of season they are going to have. Let’s look at another Tuesday night in NHL DFS.

Center

David Krejci (BOS): $6,700 vs CAR
I am going back to the well on David Krejci. Since Patrice Bergeron‘s injury absence, Krejci has filled the top center spot admirably. He has taken the opportunity with Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak and turned it into 13 points in his last 10 games. This is turning into a very nice season for Krejci, currently sitting with 20 points in 21 games. Carolina is a good defensive hockey team, but I expect a Bruins group that has won seven straight will be a tall order.

Wing

Joel Armia (MTL): $4,300 vs NYI
Things are not going well for the Montreal Canadiens right now. However, things are going well for Joel Armia. He notched his 10th goal of the season on Sunday, and he’s riding a three-game point streak. Over those three games, he also shot the puck a whopping 21 times. He continues to skate alongside Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Nick Cousins, but he is also sitting on the top power-play unit. The Islanders are stingy, but I expect Armia to chip in, at a minimum with several shots on goal.

Jack Roslovic (WPG): $3,800 vs DAL
It appears that Roslovic has finally carved out his role in the top six. The former first-round pick is skating alongside Blake Wheeler and Nikolaj Ehlers, and he is on the second power-play unit. He has chipped in with five points in his previous seven games. It is a tough matchup against Anton Khudobin and the Dallas Stars, but the price is certainly right.

Defense

Quinn Hughes (VAN): $4,700 vs OTT
Quinn Hughes has been fabulous this season, tallying 23 points in 27 games. He is quarterbacking the top power-play unit, and he has five points in his last three outings. I do not understand the price on this one. The Ottawa Senators are in town having dropped four straight contests. The Sens will turn to Anders Nilsson in this one, who has a 2.92 GAA and .917 SV% this season. Nilsson is a capable goaltender, but the Senators as a team are still surrendering over three goals per game.

Goalie

Chris Driedger (FLA): $7,300 vs MIN
I don’t usually go bargain shopping in goal, but here I am. Who would have thought that after July 1st this year the Florida Panthers would be turning to Chris Driedger for back to back starts with Sergei Bobrovksy healthy? Nevertheless, after his first career start was a 27 save shutout against the Predators, you can’t blame Joel Quenneville for giving Dreidger the nod again. Believe it or not, the Panthers are the third biggest betting favorite on the board tonight at -130.  I’m looking to catch lightning in a bottle with some of these bargain picks, and then fill out the rest of my roster with studs.
