FanDuel Projected Ownership: Week 16 (2019) PREMIUM
If you’re playing DFS this week in addition to your redraft finals, congratulations! If you’re playing it to distract you from missing your league’s championship game, well, there’s always next year. Each week, I’ll be offering you some fantasy analysis on the ownership numbers from our projected ownership tool, so let’s get started!
Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson are your only two quarterbacks to clear the 10% mark this week. Jackson has a terrific matchup against the Browns, and although the Ravens lost to them back in Week 4, they’re now without Myles Garrett, and both Sheldon Richardson and Olivier Vernon are questionable. That’s not good news if you’re playing the most mobile quarterback in the league. Meanwhile, Russ has a date with Arizona’s soft secondary. They give up the most passing yards of any team, so $8,300 is honestly kind of a steal for Russ. Matt Ryan should be in around 9% of lineups, and his matchup with a careening Jacksonville squad certainly has some appeal. That said, I’m more confident in Devonta Freeman and the Falcons’ running game against the Jags’ atrocious rush defense. Ryan Tannehill and Kyler Murray round out the list at about 8% owned, but I’d rather play Matty Ice than either of them this week.
