We kick things off with regular contributor Heath Cummings, who points out just how much of a mess the San Francisco backfield has been for fantasy purposes:

At this point – and with your playoff life in the balance from here on out – the 49ers’ backfield can’t be trusted. That’s especially true in Week 14 against a New Orleans Saints defense that ranks fourth in the NFL against the run.
Graham Barfield chimes in next with a terrific stat that Allen Robinson owners could have used prior to the Thursday night game against Dallas:
Allen Robinson has played five games this year with Taylor Gabriel out or limited to less than 60% of snaps. A-Rob's game log in these contests:
7/77 (9 targets)
7/97/2 (9)
10/87/1 (16)
6/131/1 (10)
8/86/1 (12)— Graham Barfield (@GrahamBarfield) December 4, 2019
True to form, A-Rob snagged a pair of touchdown catches to give his fantasy owners a huge early boost to their Week 14 lineups.
Frank Stampfl gives us a solid running back recommendation in his most eye-popping Tweet of the week:
Joe Mixon over his last five games:
19.8 carries per game
77.8 rushing yards per game
3 total touchdowns

— Frank Stampfl (@Roto_Frank) December 5, 2019
Mixon remains reasonably priced across the daily fantasy industry entering this week’s encounter with the Cleveland Browns, and could be a savvy pick in both cash game and GPP formats given the fact that Bengals are involving him no matter the game script.
Nate Hamilton pours some ice water on Patrick Mahomes owners, who are already keenly aware of this fact on some level:
My “WTF” moment of the day:
Patrick Mahomes has now scored less than 20 #FantasyFootball points in 6 of his last 7 games. 🤮 pic.twitter.com/rojsVs69y9
— Nate Hamilton (@DomiNateFF) December 4, 2019
Mahomes should be a dependable option down the stretch, but he’s no longer the QB1 lock he was last year. And let this serve as a lesson to anyone stumping for Lamar Jackson as a first-round pick in 2020 re-draft formats: buyer beware, no matter how good the man looks this season.
Let’s wind down the main event with a message from Field Yates, who shares an impressive list of bruisers:
Most yards per carry after first contact (min. 75 carries)
1. Derrick Henry: 2.28
2. Jacobs: 2.22
3. Chris Carson: 2.21
4. Raheem Mostert: 2.17
5. Leonard Fournette: 2.12
6. Alexander Mattison: 2.10— Field Yates (@FieldYates) December 5, 2019
It sure looks like Henry is going to decide countless thousands of fantasy titles again this season, for better or worse. As long as the Titans are competitive, Henry should eat – but if they fall behind by multiple touchdowns at any point over the next three weeks, his fantasy owners are going to wish he was a better pass catcher.
Here’s the best of the rest from this week’s #FantasyFootball Twitter barrage:

Someone asked for this, so here it is. The updated chart showing how many fantasy points above or below expectation each team is allowing to every position. The Cardinals are giving up ~6.8 more points per game than the season-long averages of the QBs they've faced. pic.twitter.com/7PbwWxekos

Total carries now for the season are Coleman 120, Breida 109, Mostert 92.
