FanDuel NFL GPP Lineup Advice: Divisional Round (2020)

FanDuel NFL GPP Lineup Advice: Divisional Round (2020)

There were some crazy outcomes and plays in the Wild Card weekend and this week’s Divisional Round should be no different with four games spread across two days. I’m hesitant to go too far “off the board” this week when building GPP lineups as I feel that the better teams will take care of business, but that doesn’t mean we can work on the edges and get the third or fourth most popular stacks and mix in a dart throw here and there to find our way up the leaderboard.

So, with that let’s stack’em up for the Divisional Round…

Stacking Options

Russell Wilson (QB – SEA): $7,900 / Tyler Lockett (WR – SEA): $6,700
Wilson is always a GPP option when he is forced into a game script that requires him to pass the ball to come from behind. He’ll face a Packers team that has gotten off to fast starts in many games this season and I expect them to come out firing on Sunday. This should put the ball in Wilson’s hands to lead a comeback both with his arm and legs. D.K. Metcalf was the big producer last week which should flow most of the stacking ownership towards him this week. That means it is a perfect time to get, the other guy, Tyler Lockett. I prefer Lockett’s matchup while working primarily out of the slot with his precise route running and Wilson’s ability to get him the ball. Bring it back with either Davante Adams or Aaron Jones.

Bring it back with: Davante Adams (WR – GB): $8,400 or Aaron Jones (RB – GB): $8,200

Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL): $9,400 / Marquise Brown (WR – BAL): $5,300
While I expect Jackson to be a popular play, many will run him out there naked (with no stack) or with his tight end Mark Andrews. However, I have a feeling that this will be a game where Marquise Brown is the premier player to stack with Jackson. The Titans secondary lacks speed, which Brown has plenty of, and has allowed six receivers to top 100 yards over the last nine games of the regular season. Remember how Brown started the season against the Dolphins? I wouldn’t be shocked by a similar performance to start the playoffs. Bring it back with A.J. Brown who has his own big-play ability in a game the Titans could be forced to air it out to try to keep up with the Ravens.

Bring it back with: A.J. Brown (WR – TEN): $7,400

Damien Williams (RB – KC): $6,900 / DEF Chiefs: $4,200
I’m not going to try to get too cute with my running back and D/ST stack this weekend. The top two options are Aaron Jones with the Packers D/ST and Williams with the Chiefs D/ST. I think the Williams/Chiefs combo will carry lower ownership even though the Chiefs are a bigger home favorite and the salaries are lower. Williams had averaged 14 carries and five targets over the last two weeks since returning from injury. He was a big part of the Chiefs red zone offense in the playoffs last season with six scores in two games. Pair him up with an improved Chiefs defensive unit against a Texans team that just allowed seven sacks in their Wild Card win.

Low-Owned Stud

Derrick Henry (RB – TEN): $9,600
Henry was in this exact same spot last week and delivered big time with 204 total yards and a score. He is once again the highest priced running back on the slate while playing on the road as an underdog against a supposedly strong defense. While the Ravens overall defense is strong, their run defense has only been slightly above league average this season. They rank 10th DVOA against the run and have allowed 4.0 YPC (10th) and most importantly they have allowed 0.8 rushing touchdowns (23rd) per game this season and 1.2 rushing scores (27th) per game over the last five weeks. You know who is getting the ball when the Titans get near the endzone.
