With just three weeks until the NFL Draft, it’s time for a fresh mock. This week’s installment will now include 14 trades through two rounds, as is usual for the NFL Draft. Alright, let’s do this!

#1 – Cincinnati Bengals – Joe Burrow (QB – LSU)
Burrow is one of the best quarterback prospects in the past 20 years. It would take an epic haul in order for Cincy to move the pick (Miami has the firepower).

Washington trades 1.2 to the Chargers for 1.6, 2021 LAC #1 and 3.71
#2 – Los Angeles Chargers (via WAS) – Tua Tagovailoa (QB – Alabama)
Although Washington could use a stud edge rusher, they opt to grab an additional first and push their chips in on Dwayne Haskins. The Chargers use Tyrod Taylor as a bridge QB before the Tua era begins mid-season.
#3 – Detroit Lions – Chase Young (Edge – Ohio St)
The Lions would be dancing in their war room if a historically great edge rusher like Young fell to them at #3. If he isn’t there, Okudah or trading down is most likely.
#4 – New York Giants – Isaiah Simmons (LB – Clemson)
It is looking more and more like Simmons to the Giants at 4 is the lock of the draft. They could potentially grab the draft’s first offensive lineman or even trade up for Young, but Simmons looks like a slam dunk here.
#5 – Miami Dolphins – Jedrick Wills (OT – Alabama)
Most are expecting Wirfs or even Becton to be the first tackle off the board but Wills is a polished asset and an absolute wall in pass protection. If Tua is gone, it seems likely they’ll begin to build the line.
#6 – Washington – Tristan Wirfs (OT – Iowa)
Washington has plenty of holes but first and foremost is their need to replace Trent Williams (more on that later) and protect last year’s #1 pick, Haskins. Wirfs offers a high ceiling and strong floor.
#7 – Carolina Panthers – Derrick Brown (IDL – Auburn)
I haven’t changed this pick through three installments and even though Brown had a rough combine showing, this is still a perfect fit. If Okudah or Simmons fell, they’d have to think hard, but Brown at 7 is as good of a bet as you’ll find in this draft.
#8 – Arizona Cardinals – Mekhi Becton (OT – Louisville)
Now that DeAndre Hopkins is in town, Arizona grabbing a wideout at 8 makes little sense. Rather, they need to give Kyler Murray a chance and adding this enormous human being with top-tier footwork would go a long way in doing that.
#9 – Jacksonville Jaguars – Jeffrey Okudah (CB – Ohio St)
Okudah is the #2 player on my big board behind Chase Young but if Young is available to the Lions with the 3rd pick, he could fall to Carolina or even all the way to the Jags at #9. Think of him as a replica to Jalen Ramsey‘s game.
#10 – Cleveland Browns – Andrew Thomas (OT – Georgia)
The Browns are in the Trent Williams sweepstake and may end up dealing Odell Beckham so don’t be surprised if they don’t end up with a pick at 1.10. If they do, you can almost lock them in for one of the top four offensive tackles.
#11 – New York Jets – Jerry Jeudy (WR – Alabama)
The Jets are also likely to take a tackle if one of the big four falls. In this particular mock, however, that doesn’t work out so they grab the top wideout on the board. Jeudy could go anywhere from #5 to #17 in this draft.
#12 – Las Vegas Raiders – Javon Kinlaw (IDL – South Carolina)
Derrick Brown is a near-lock to go in the top 10, but there is not much of a gap at all between his abilities and Kinlaw’s. The Raiders would do well to add him here even though they need a wideout much more. After all, this draft has wide receivers galore to choose from in Round 3 where Las Vegas has three picks.
#13 – San Francisco 49ers (via IND) – CeeDee Lamb (WR – Oklahoma)
It wouldn’t be a surprise at all for the 49ers to trade down and compile some picks. If Lamb is on the board, however, it is difficult to see them pass up on him. They could also grab Kinlaw if he is there or the first corner off the board (Henderson?)

Tampa Bay trades 1.14 to the Vikings for 1.22 and 2.58
#14 – Minnesota Vikings (vs TB) – Henry Ruggs III (WR – Alabama)
The Bucs need help on their offensive line but with all four top tackles already gone, it would make sense for them to trade down. Denver is likely to take Ruggs if he falls to 15 so Minnesota moves up to secure their replacement for Stefon Diggs.

Denver trades 1.15 to the Colts for 2.34, 2.44 and 5.160
#15 – Indianapolis Colts – Justin Herbert (QB – Oregon)
Now that Denver’s receiver target is off the board and Herbert is sliding, the Colts and Broncos have a natural trade fit. Denver adds two early seconds with a wideout and OT on their mind, while Indy gets their developmental QB of the future.
#16 – Atlanta Falcons – Jeff Gladney (CB – TCU)
Gladney has flown up draft boards of late and a playoff contender like the Falcons may just “reach” to ensure they have the most NFL-ready corner to step in and start on day one.
#17 – Dallas Cowboys – Jeremy Chinn (S – Southern Illinois)
If you ask five different analysts who the top safety in the class is, you may get five different answers. Many are very high on Chinn and others are scoffing at the notion that he could go in the first round. Dallas needs to rebuild their secondary and Chinn would help them do it quickly.
#18 – Miami Dolphins (via PIT) – Jalen Hurts (QB – Oklahoma)
When you saw Washington was trading the second overall pick, you probably figured it was to Miami but I’m convinced the team requires a more mobile QB considering the state of their offensive line. Hurts rushed for 20 TDs and 1,300 yards last season and is extremely accurate. Don’t be shocked when some teams nabs him in the 1st round.
#19 – Las Vegas Raiders (via CHI) – Kenneth Murray (LB – Oklahoma)
Gruden is said to love building a culture above all things. Not only is Murray among the best young men in the draft but he sure can play some football as well. Besides Simmons at #4 and Brown at #7, this is the pick I’m most confident in.

Jacksonville trades 1.20 and 5.157 to the Saints for 1.24 and 2021 #3
#20 – New Orleans Saints (via JAX/LAR) – Jalen Reagor (WR – TCU)
With Philly coming up next and needing a wide receiver (or three), New Orleans moves up four spots to get a dangerous field stretcher to plug in opposite of Michael Thomas for one last run with Drew Brees.
#21 – Philadelphia Eagles – Justin Jefferson (WR – LSU)
Although Raegor would be an option here, as well as Murray if he falls or a corner, Jefferson is the most natural fit. He is a mismatch in the slot waiting to happen and with Nelson Agholor now gone, Jefferson fills the gap perfectly.
#22 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via MIN/BUF) – K’Lavon Chaisson (Edge – LSU)
If the Bucs trade down, offensive line is still their top need but with Chaisson dropping and Shaq Barrett on a franchise tag, it would be wise for them to take the best player available.

New England trades 1.23 and 2021 NE #4 to CHI for 2.43 and 2.50
#23 – Chicago Bears (via NE) – CJ Henderson (CB – Florida)
Many mocks have Henderson as the top corner off the board and some even seen him going in the top ten picks. If he were to fall, a team with two seconds and a need at the position, like the Bears, would surely be calling to pounce on the opportunity.
#24 – Jacksonville Jaguars (via NO) – Kyle Dugger (S – Lenoir-Rhyne)
You were wondering why the Jags were willing to trade back? Well, it’s because Kinlaw was off the board and any safety would have been a bit of a reach at #20. Dugger is a small school player with eye-popping film and athleticism.
#25 – Minnesota Vikings – Kristian Fulton (CB – LSU)
The Vikings already traded up in this draft to add Ruggs and now they get their biggest need at pick #25. You can write it in ink that they won’t leave the first round without a corner from one of their two picks.
#26 – Miami Dolphins (via HOU) – Grant Delpit (S – LSU)
The Dolphins have many needs but five picks in the first two rounds. It’s tough to say whether they’d add a running back, edge rusher or the first interior offensive linemen off the board, but if Delpit falls, he’d be an excellent replacement for the recently traded Minkah Fitzpatrick.

Seattle trades 1.27 to Jacksonville for Yannick Ngakoue
#27 – Jacksonville Jaguars (via SEA) – A.J. Epenesa (Edge – Iowa)
The Jags sure are busy in this mock with now three first round picks. Some have Epenesa falling into the second but it wasn’t three months ago that most mocks had him going within the top 12 picks. This bull of a man would help the Jags continue to rebuild their depleted defense.
#28 – Baltimore Ravens – Denzel Mims (WR – Baylor)
Baltimore does not have many needs and truly has the luxury of taking the best player available. A linebacker like Patrick Queen would make sense or an edge rusher like Epenesa but Lamar Jackson sure could use an X-Receiver like Mims to line up opposite of Hollywood Brown.
#29 – Tennessee Titans – Terrell Lewis (Edge – Alabama)
Much like Baltimore, the Titans virtually have a complete roster already. You can never have too many defensive linemen, however, and I expect them to go that direction whether it’s Lewis, Gross-Matos or a defensive tackle like Blacklock or Madubuike.
#30 – Green Bay Packers – Donovan Peoples-Jones (WR – Michigan)
If you thought Dugger at #24 was a shocker, just wait until some NFL team inevitably takes DPJ in the back end of the first. He didn’t produce much in Michigan’s lackluster offense but the tape is glowing with highlights, his athleticism is off the charts and NFL teams rave about his intangibles.
#31 – San Francisco 49ers – Trevon Diggs (CB – Alabama)
Gladney would have been the absolute perfect pick for San Fran at #31 if he had fallen but the 49ers will move on to the next best pro-ready corner. If not Diggs, a guard like Ruiz may make some sense here.
#32 – Kansas City Chiefs – D’Andre Swift (RB – Georgia)
Oh, you thought near-Super Bowl MVP, Damien Williams was the definite starter moving forward? Andy Reid expressed disappointment with his ability to stay healthy so don’t be shocked if they take the ultimate three-down playmaker in Swift if he were to fall this far.
