FanDuel NFL GPP Lineup Advice: Week 12 (2020)

FanDuel NFL GPP Lineup Advice: Week 12 (2020)

Hopefully, everyone had a great Thanksgiving and have recovered from your food coma to start researching the Sunday slate. The Week 12 main slate on the NFL gridiron is jam-packed with viable stacking options for GPPs on FanDuel. I’m more than willing to stack up on a few teams who didn’t make my list, including the Bills, Chargers, Chiefs, and Cardinals. The passing games for those teams should be popular this week, but I’ll dig a little deeper to highlight a couple of other stacks I like just as much that will come with far less usage.

So, with that let’s stack’em up for Week 12.

Stacking Options

Tom Brady (QB – TB): $7,900
Mike Evans (WR – TB): $7,100
Antonio Brown (WR – TB): $6,500
The elder statesman of the NFL, Tom Brady, has had his share of ups and downs this season. However, the ups can be GPP-winning production. He should get plenty of opportunities to sling the rock this week as the Buccaneers keep pace with the potent Chiefs. Kansas City has been in shootouts each of the last two games, allowing an average of 293 passing yards and 2.5 touchdowns.

Brady has four legit pass-catchers to pair with, including Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski alongside my preferred options. Mike Evans and Antonio Brown have a combined 41 targets over the last two games. Give strong consideration to making this a full-game stack by not only using a pair of Bucs pass-catchers with Brady, but also running it back with a pair of Chiefs by using both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. This game stack is expensive, but there are viable cheap running backs to make it work.

Bring it back with: Tyreek Hill (WR – KC): $8,600 / Travis Kelce (TE – KC): $8,000

Derek Carr (QB – LV): $7,100
Darren Waller (TE – LV): $7,100
If you are looking for a cheaper stack, then give the Raiders passing game a look. Derek Carr has thrown for at least two touchdown passes in seven out of 10 games this season and topped 275 passing yards five times. He should meet or exceed both of those marks on Sunday against the pass-funnel Falcons defense. While they rank seventh in Defense-adjusted Value Over Average (DVOA) against the run, according to FootballOutsiders, they rank 28th in DVOA against the pass, allowing 314 passing yards (31st) and 2.2 touchdown passes (29th) per game this season.

Darren Waller continues to be Carr’s top receiving option with at least five catches in six of his last seven games. He also draws a very favorable matchup, as the Falcons have given up 5.7 receptions (30th) for 62 yards (31st) and 0.8 touchdowns (30th) per game to the tight end position. If you want to consider a double stack, then give Nelson Agholor ($5,200) a look. Bring it back on the Falcons side with either Calvin Ridley or Julio Jones ($8,000), if healthy.

Bring it back with: Calvin Ridley (WR – ATL): $8,100

Wayne Gallman (RB – NYG): $5,700
Giants (DST – NYG): $4,300
There is nothing sexy about using Wayne Gallman, but he has quietly scored in four straight games and seen his carries increase each week during that stretch. Next up for Gallman could be the perfect storm to build on his recent success, as the Giants are close to a touchdown favorite against the Bengals. Their run defense ranks 21st in DVOA and have allowed 121 rushing yards (29th) per game to running backs on 5.24 YPC (31st).

The Giants’ defense is a strong option to pair with Gallman against the Joe Burrow-less Bengals, who will start Brandon Allen under center. Cincinnati has given up 3.6 sacks (31st) and 1.4 turnovers (20th) per game.

High-Priced Stud

Dalvin Cook (RB – MIN): $11,000
Dalvin Cook is in the middle of a very soft schedule and is taking full advantage, averaging 27 carries for 145 yards and 3.3 receptions for 42 yards and 1.8 scores over his last four games. This week he will look to keep rolling against the Panthers, who rank 25th in DVOA against the run while coughing up 4.74 YPC (29th) and 0.9 touchdowns (26th) per game to running backs. Cook’s high salary reflects his recent dominance and favorable matchup, but he is still worth jamming into a bunch of your GPP lineups.
