We have an absolutely packed Monday, but there are also an abundance of “caution spots.” As of this writing, at least two games will be threatened by rain, and it will force us to consider late swaps and alternate plans. That’s especially true with one of these potential rainouts featuring a GPP target on the mound and another with a lineup worth stacking.
Outside of the weather, we also have the typical early-season pitching risks. A handful of players were either limited in their last outing — Max Fried pitched only two innings, albeit via a line drive hit back at him — or might be limited on Monday — how long will Robbie Ray pitch in his first start of the season? All-in-all, the word of the day is “careful.” Be careful.
