Every week, the bidding for two-start pitchers is fast and furious. Fantasy managers craving those extra starts, particularly in points leagues, are willing to spend significant FAB to add even the diciest hurler who will take the mound twice between Monday and Sunday.
If you have the room, adding a two-start pitcher a week before his two-start week can not only save you time, effort, and FAB dollars, but it can give you a significant edge on your competition. Nick Pivetta is a standout option given his matchups with the Tigers and Orioles, and Huascar Ynoa, Jordan Montgomery, Chris Bassitt, Jake Junis, and J.A. Happ are all viable in deep rotisserie leagues and all points leagues. Other than that, your two-start options are likely to do more harm than good.
