Top Betcha Props of the Day: Tuesday (5/4)

Have you heard about Betcha, one of the hottest new betting apps around? If not, I’m here to help you out. Betcha is an app that combines betting on player props with the fun of playing with friends for a totally unique experience. You can follow users and gain followers of your own, view leaderboards, and challenge friends. Best of all, you can receive up to a 0.5x boost on any wager if you and a friend play in the same competition. Also, be sure to check out Betcha’s new NBA Ownership Challenge, that puts you in the driver’s seat of an NBA franchise as you climb the ladder!

You can wager on up to four props per game, and your payouts increase the more player props you choose. You have two options: over/under and matchup. For over/unders, simply pick whether a player will go over or under a stat, and for matchups, choose which player will finish with more of a certain stat. Pretty simple, right? In the latest article of a recurring series, I’ll be naming my favorite props of the day.

Am I excited to get into these props? You betcha!

Suns at Cavaliers

Jarrett Allen (BKN) OVER 10.5 rebounds
He’s grabbed at least 11 boards in four of his last five contests, and Phoenix is just middle-of-the-road against opposing centers in rebounds allowed. I’m expecting Allen to continue his strong production on the boards and go over his 10.5-rebound prop.

Deandre Ayton (PHO) UNDER 14.5 points
Ayton has been a bit of a disappointment this season, particularly on offense. He’s averaged a meager 7.5 points across his last four, and he’s scored 11 points or fewer in seven of his last nine. That doesn’t bode well for him against a Cavs team that’s allowed the second-fewest points to opposing centers this season. I’ll gladly take the under here.

Kevin Love (CLE) UNDER 12.5 points
This might seem a bit crazy considering Love went for 25 points in his last game, but in nine games prior, he averaged just 10 points. Phoenix has surrendered the fifth-fewest points to PF’s this season, and this will be a pace-down spot for Love. The over/under is an uninspired 218.5, and Love has all but given up on the season, amplified by his

Nets at Bucks

Kevin Durant (BKN) OVER 29.5 points
Durant has scored 42 in back-to-back games, and I don’t expect his hot scoring streak to come to an end anytime soon. This matchup with the Bucks should be another hot affair after Sunday’s game went 117-114 in favor of the Bucks. In that one, Durant was outdueled by Giannis and even had one of his jumpers swatted by the Greek Freak. In what could be a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview, both teams (particularly their superstars) should be highly motivated to come away with a victory. I like Durant to go for at least 30 for a third straight outing.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) OVER 30.5 points
Giannis went for 49 in his last game, and as I highlighted above, he outscored Kevin Durant to get his team a needed victory. On top of that stellar showing, Giannis has scored at least 31 points in three of his last six full games played. In another showdown with his biggest Eastern Conference contenders, expect Giannis to take care of business on offense. I’m taking the over on both of this game’s superstars.

Kings at Thunder

Buddy Hield (SAC) OVER 21.5 points
No De’Aaron Fox, no Tyrese Haliburton, no problem. This matchup features a high over/under and defenses that surrender plenty of points. On the season, OKC has surrendered the third-most points to SG, and Hield should figure prominently into the Kings’ offensive gameplan tonight. Not counting his two-point dud against the Lakers last week, Hield has averaged 23 points across his last five. I’m going with the over.

Theo Maledon (OKC) OVER 13.5 points
The opposing backcourt offers plenty of appeal, too. Sacramento ahs allowed the most points to opposing PGs this season, and Maldeon has averaged 14 across his last three contests. As mentioned above, the 230.5 over/under is an appealing game environment, and Maldeon should be able to get into a groove against the shorthanded Kings in this one.
