MLB Daily Fantasy Primer: Friday (7/23) PREMIUM
It’s a busy Friday with all but one game scheduled in the main slate. There are also no doubleheaders and apparently no weather threats, so we are looking at the potential for 28 teams to deliver at full capacity.
As always, the large slates have countless options.
On Friday, this is not exactly a bad thing. As we will soon see, pricing is tight, but it is not impossible to navigate. If anything, it forces our hands to a more balanced approach. That, in itself, might be enough to differentiate from the field.
Friday's Starting Pitcher Strategy
In what continues to be an ongoing trend, the disparity between pitchers' salaries on DraftKings and FanDuel cannot be understated. It's true again on Friday, although the overall differences are a little more subtle. This is because the consensus top-priced pitcher on both websites -- Gerrit Cole -- is not drastically higher-priced than his counterparts. There's a more gentle curve in terms of the salary range, so we see less drastic discrepancies. Still, some exist.
