MLB Daily Fantasy Primer: Saturday (9/11) PREMIUM
The Saturday night main slate features eight games.
Saturday's Starting Pitcher Strategy
Charlie Morton's the top pitching option on tonight's slate, and he's underpriced to boot! Luis Garcia's salary discrepancy between sites enhances his appeal on FanDuel while depressing it on DraftKings. He's a GPP option in a superb matchup. Luis Castillo's my preferred cash game SP2 on DraftKings, despite having a higher salary than Morton. Finally, I harbor some concerns about Brady Singer and am disinterested in him on FanDuel. However, his salary on DraftKings is too low to ignore, given his potential to smash value.
Cash Game Recommendations:
Charlie Morton (ATL) vs. MIA
Morton's going to be incredibly chalky. Still, I don't care. According to FanGraphs, in his last seven starts totaling 42.0 innings, he's spun a 2.79 ERA, 2.46 xFIP, 2.86 SIERA, 0.83 WHIP, 5.7 BB%, 31.4 K%, and 32.1 CSW%. Those are ace numbers in every sense.
