We probably exaggerate how amazing the NFL can be at times, but these first two weeks were nuts. Sunday’s 4 p.m. ET window was one of the best I’ve ever seen, and it’s also been very profitable from a fantasy perspective. The only major disappointment was that Los Angeles-Dallas dud, as many Cowboys let us down.

That happens every week, though, and Week 2’s picks succeeded outside of Dallas’ passing game. There’s much to discuss for Week 3, so let’s get to it! I’m considering the following players for cash games.

Patrick Mahomes (KC): $8,200, vs. LAC
This is a cash-game article, so Mahomes will be in here a lot. He’s in the MVP running every single season, scoring at least 28 DK points in the first two games of this year. Mahomes didn’t even go off in those games, as he’s shown a 40-point upside in the past. In his one matchup against the Chargers last year, he dropped 31 DraftKings points in yet another gem.

Justin Herbert (LAC): $6,500, at KC
This is the best game to stack on the board. We’re looking at two pass-heavy teams and a game total of 56. That points to a potential shootout with the Chargers likely throwing a ton to play catch-up with this unstoppable Chiefs offense. That was certainly the case last season, with Herbert averaging 31.2 DK points per game in their two matchups.
