As we approach the Week 3 Cash game main slate, let me just remind everyone to pay attention to late-breaking injury news and inactives leading up to kickoff. There are a lot of players being limited in practice and carrying questionable tags into the weekend. If any of those players end up being out this week, it can not only shift who to play from that team but can alter your entire lineup build. So, don’t fall so “in love” with your lineup that you are unwilling to make changes based on new injury news or inactives.
That said, also be careful not to do too much tinkering right up to kickoff if there hasn’t been any slate-changing news. Your evaluation and instincts you had to construct your optimal lineup for Cash games on Saturday night or early Sunday morning were probably right and based on a collection of data and analysis. So, if you see a last-minute one-off opinion or stat from one random source, don’t let it derail all of the research you have already done.

The players below are ones I’m looking at for cash game considerations for Week 3 main slates:
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Justin Fields (CHI): $5,200 vs. CLE
The Bears rookie will get his first start on Sunday against the Browns with Andy Dalton ruled out. Fields has the skill set that we want with his running ability coupled with his downfield passing. He has a cheap price tag that seems necessary for this week’s lineup build in Cash games on DraftKings.
