Cal Peterson (G – LA)
Peterson is a keeper currently ranked outside the top-200 to keep an eye on this season. He has a chance to prove he was worth the $5 million investment the Kings made. For what looks to be an improved team, he could return solid value this season.

Alexander Wennberg (C/F – SEA)
Injuries should open early playing time for Wennberg, who will look to deliver for fantasy managers. If he’s able to make the most of his opportunity with the surrounding weapons, Wennberg could stick in the rotation for the season as someone that’s currently selected around pick 400.

Cody Glass (C – NSH)
The former top-10 pick will have every opportunity to produce for his new team in Nashville. Given the lack of surrounding talent, Glass should see plenty of ice. He’s worth a flier to see if he’ll be able to make a dent and really break out in his age-22 season.

Alexandre Texier (C/LW – CBJ)
This will be one to keep an eye on. It seems like Texier should have the No. 1 center spot in Columbus. However, with prospect Cole Sillinger breathing down his neck, he’ll have to produce if he wants to keep it. If he does and is able to stave off Sillinger, it could mean great things for those that invest in the veteran.

Conor Timmins (D – ARI)
Coming off a hot preseason, Timmins is going to see if a change in location helps him deliver on the potential he’s shown over the years. He should have no issue pushing for playing time in Arizona, and if he’s able to remain healthy and avoid further concussions, he could deliver strong value.
