5 Players I Like More Than ECR

James Robinson: Robinson has proven that he’s locked in as the Jaguars’ lead back now and Jacksonville should be able to put up points on the Titans defense this week. He’s RB13 in ECR and RB9 in my rankings.

Damien Harris: Yes, the offensive line in front of Harris is banged up and he could potentially be without four of his starters, but this is a matchup that you play Harris and you don’t think twice about it. He’s RB21 in ECR and RB17 in my rankings, but he has top-10 upside.

Ja’Marr Chase: It’s true that Tee Higgins coming back into the lineup is going to take some work away from Chase, but without Jaire Alexander in the lineup Chase has ridiculous upside here. He’s WR16 in ECR and WR9 in my rankings currently.

Michael Pittman: Pittman has 250 receiving yards over the last three weeks and that was with Carson Wentz playing without fully functioning ankles. He’s seeing a ton of work in the red zone and the touchdowns are coming. He’s WR37 in ECR and WR29 in my rankings.

Trey Lance: For the brand. Start Lance this week.

5 Players I Like Less Than ECR

Najee Harris: This matchup up against Denver isn’t a pretty one for opposing RBs and I’m not sure if the Steelers are going to be able to move the ball much here. He’s RB13 in my rankings and RB9 in ECR.

Mike Davis: I know that Calvin Ridley being out opens things up for Mike Davis to receive more work, but are we sure he’s going to be able to do anything with it? He’s RB24 in ECR and RB28 in my rankings.

CeeDee Lamb: Lamb’s still a rock-solid start, but I have concerns about his overall volume in this offense. Especially if the Cowboys aren’t going to air the ball out as much as they had been previously. He’s WR10 in ECR and WR17 in my rankings.

Jakobi Meyers: There’s the potential that Meyers finds his first career NFL touchdown this week against the Texans. However, there’s also the possibility that Mac Jones only throws the ball 20 times this week and Meyers falls flat because of it. He needs high volume to be effective and I don’t see that happening in this game. He’s WR31 in ECR and WR45 in my rankings.

Robert Tonyan: Tonyan continues to be ranked highly by ECR due to his touchdown upside and it’s understandable. However, I have very little faith in that happening at this point and he’s now TE18 in my rankings versus TE14. He’s a complete touchdown-or-bust option.

Desperation Pickups

Randall Cobb: He’s only rostered in 16% of Yahoo leagues and he has a high floor that shouldn’t crush your lineup.

Tyler Conklin: If you’re in a pinch at TE and need a player, Conklin plays Detroit this week and is only rostered in 15% of Yahoo leagues.

Kadarius Toney: With Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton ruled out for this matchup, Toney should see plenty of work again and he has the talent to make his opportunity count.

Olamide Zaccheaus: With Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage both out, Zaccheaus should see enough volume to at least be relevant in deeper formats. However, if you do start him, you are completely stuck hoping he finds the end zone.

5 Receiver/Cornerback Matchups to Watch

AJ Brown/Tyson Campbell: With Brown coming back into the lineup, can he take advantage of a superb matchup?

Ja’Marr Chase/Eric Stokes: With Alexander out of the lineup with an injury, the rookie CB will have a tough task in front of him.

JuJu Smith-Schuster/Bryce Callahan: Juju’s already disappointed this season and he now has a tough matchup up against one of the best slot corners in the game.

Cole Beasley/L’Jarius Sneed: The Bills haven’t needed Beasley much the past couple of weeks, but they’ll need him in this potential shoot-out. Will we see Sneed shut him down though?

Chris Godwin/Justin Coleman: Coleman has struggled this year and Godwin should have plenty of room to operate this week.
