Saturday's Starting Pitcher Strategy

We've reached an annoying part of the season when teams are setting their postseason rotation order and might not wholly unleash their hurlers. The Brewers and White Sox have little or nothing to gain from overextending Corbin Burnes and Lucas Giolito, so I'm concerned about a quick hook. As a result, I'm whittling the usable pitchers down to only three.

First, Julio Urias is my favorite option, with the Dodgers fighting tooth and nail to unseat the Giants for the National League West title, avoiding the wild card game. Second, Zac Gallen and Triston McKenzie are on equal footing for my second-favorite option. They have similar salaries and ranges of outcomes. However, Gallen gets the slight nod based on pitching in a National League Park and facing the Rockies away from Coors Field.
