Getting a leg up on the competition in any way possible is vital to success in fantasy baseball leagues. Planning and playing the waiver wire well are two of the most effective ways. With the “Two-Start Pitcher Lookahead,” the goal is to peer into the future two weeks and point out those lesser-owned (under 70%) starting pitchers that should be taking the mound twice for their clubs.
It could pay off if the room is available on your fantasy roster to grab and wait a week on one of these starters, particularly the first few. Why wait around for the bidding war to start immediately before their two-start week? Get ahead of things now.
Keep in mind that situations can change quickly with MLB rotations. Given the way things stand at the time of writing, the collection of hurlers below should be in line to get that coveted two-start week down the road.
