Fantasy Impact: Mets manager Buck Showalter said the Mets pushed back Scherzer just to give him an extra day to be safe. Barring any setbacks, he appears to be on track to be able to make his return potentially next week.

Fantasy Impact: Haniger is on the 60-day IL with an ankle sprain and has been out since April 30th, but has been steadily progressing. He’s expected to be able to return sometime around the All-Star break, and Tuesday’s swings are a step in the right direction. There’s still plenty of time for setbacks, but for now, expect Haniger to continue his rehab and get into games shortly.
