Kevin Durant reportedly requests trade from Brooklyn Nets
Kevin Durant has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, and Nets GM Sean Marks is working with Durant on finding a trade partner, according to reports from Shams Charania and Adrian Wojnarowski. (Source: Shams Charania)
Fantasy Impact: There were rumors over the last several weeks that Durant’s relationship with the Nets had become strained, but many thought that Kyrie Irving opting into his contract and reportedly staying in Brooklyn for at least the 2022-2023 season was a step in the right direction. However, Durant apparently still wants out. Durant will turn 34 before next season but is still one of the most prolific scorers in the league. His 37.2 minutes per game in 2021 were his most since he averaged 38.5 in 2013 as a 25-year-old.
