Atlanta Braves
Ronald Acuna (OF) – Foot
After fouling a ball off his foot, Ronald Acuna wasn’t in the lineup on Sunday. While he avoided a fracture, he cannot put much pressure on it but hopes to play within the next couple of days. A trip to the IL has not yet been ruled out.
Cincinnati Reds
Jonathan India (2B) – Hand
Jonathan India sat out of Sunday’s game as he deals with the injury to his hand that occurred when a pitch hit him on Saturday. X-rays came back negative, and he is considered to be day-to-day going forward.
Houston Astros
Michael Brantley (OF) – Shoulder
The Astros removed Michael Brantley from Sunday’s game with right shoulder discomfort. He is currently viewed as day-to-day while the Astros continue evaluating him.
Kansas City Royals
Salvador Perez (C) – Thumb
Salvador Perez underwent thumb surgery to repair the torn UCL in his thumb and is now scheduled to be out eight weeks while he recovers. This is the same thumb he sprained earlier in the year that caused him to go on the IL.
Los Angeles Dodgers
Andrew Heaney (LHP) – Shoulder
Andrew Heaney was reverted to the 15-day IL as he continues to deal with left shoulder inflammation. After missing two months with the same injury, the Dodgers are expected to give him time off from throwing for the next couple of days and reevaluate him then.
Milwaukee Brewers
Hunter Renfroe (OF) – Calf
The Brewers placed Hunter Renfroe on the 10-day IL Sunday with a right calf strain. He had been out of the lineup since Wednesday with the issue. His timeline will not be clear until he can resume baseball activities.
New York Mets
Jeff McNeil (2B/OF) – Hamstring
Jeff McNeil has missed the last five games for the Mets as he continues to experience right hamstring tightness. He is expected to return on Tuesday.
New York Yankees
Gleyber Torres (SS/2B) – Ankle
Gleyber Torres is dealing with a mild right ankle sprain that is not deemed to be too serious. Manager Aaron Boone expressed that they dodged a bullet with this ailment. He should be ready to return soon.
Philadelphia Phillies
Bryce Harper (OF) – Thumb
Bryce Harper suffered a left thumb fracture after being hit by a pitch in Saturday’s game against the Padres. The Phillies have not placed a timetable on a potential return, but he is not expected to be back soon as surgery is an option.
San Francisco Giants
Brandon Crawford (SS) – Knee
Brandon Crawford was placed on the 10-day IL as he is dealing with left knee inflammation. The Giants are optimistic that he will only miss the minimum.
Seattle Mariners
Ty France (1B/2B/3B) – Elbow
Ty France is dealing with a Grade 2 flexor strain expected to hold him out past the 10-day minimum stint on the IL. An exact timetable should be more precise then.
