Waiver Wire Injury Stash Philospohy

My philosophy on injury stashes is pretty simple. When I have the space to stash a player, I am aiming for the fickle mistress known as upside. Many times that’s an exercise in futility, but hey–injuries are inherently risky, anyway. Why would you assume risk without also adding upside? Of course, your league settings and team needs will always trump this sort of general analysis, so don’t start yelling at me. In each list that follows, I’m weighing a combination of upside, risk, and supposed nearness of returning to play. By nature, this is an inexact science. So again, I welcome your disagreements.
