Fantasy Football Week 4 NFL Pace & Efficiency Preview (2022) PREMIUM
Welcome to FantasyPros’ weekly pace and efficiency report. Each week of the season, we’ll survey trends in snap count totals while examining pace and efficiency data. Opportunity is king in fantasy football, and teams that run more plays have more opportunities to score fantasy points. Snap counts are the product of pace and efficiency, so examining each factor provides insight into future game environments, changes in coaching philosophy, and offensive growth or decline throughout the season.
Teams projected for high Week 4 snap counts
After a disappointing loss to Miami, Buffalo will look to rebound in a big way against the Ravens. They still hold the third-best CER at 91.0 and one of the league’s best defenses in EPA/play on top of a higher-than-average pace. The Ravens have an offense to match Buffalo’s with the NFL’s fourth-highest CER of 84.6, an element needed so that the Bills don’t go up multiple scores and slow down their pace. I expect the Bills to edge out the Ravens in this highly anticipated matchup between two offensive powerhouses.
