Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Kyler Murray (hamstring) returns to Cardinals’ practice Thursday
Kyler Murray, who was listed as a DNP on Wednesday’s practice estimate report with a hamstring injury, was seen practicing on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Murray was a surprise addition to the injury report Wednesday, but Thursday’s return to the practice field offers some optimism as to the QB’s outlook for Sunday’s game against the Rams. If Kyler is limited by his injury it could affect the way the team uses his legs on Sunday. If he does play he is still worth a start as a QB1 option, but perhaps expectations will need to be brought down slightly for the mobile QB in a tough matchup against the Rams’ defense.
Mike Evans (Ribs, Ankle) limited in practice on Thursday
Mike Evans was limited in practice on Thursday as he deals with rib and ankle ailments ahead of Week 10.
Fantasy Impact
The Buccaneers are set to square off against the Seahawks in Munich Germany on Sunday, and surely Evans would like to be out there for the international affair. Evans has popped up endlessly on the Buc’s injury report this season, as he typically does. Barring something unforeseen, he should be cleared and good to go for Week 10.
Brandin Cooks (wrist) practices Thursday
Brandin Cooks (wrist) returned to Texans’ practice on Thursday after attending but not participating on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Cook appears to be trending towards playing this Sunday vs. the Giants after missing Week 9. It’s not a good matchup, and the veteran wideout hasn’t been great this season. However, he’ll be on the flex radar, given his 20% target share.
Ryan Tannehill a full participant in practice Thursday
Ryan Tannehill was a full participant in practice Thursday for the Titans.
Fantasy Impact
Tannehill was limited in practice Wednesday with the ankle injure that caused him to miss Week 9. Tannehill appears on track to start Sunday against Denver which would be a boost for a struggling Titans’ offense. Fantasy managers will want to continue to monitor his status as we get closer to Sunday.
